If I choose the option "refresh" when recovering the computer the network adaptor will not work. I have installed the old driver that it runs fine with after it has updated and the conectionĤ. I have tried to install different older drivers for RT3290 but it seems like one the problem has occured it is there to stay until I completely reinstall Windows 8. If I turn off the updates the computer runs fine until I update to Windows 8.1 and then there is no connection to the router.ģ. The WiFi works fine until Windows Update installs the updated driver for the wireless adaptor. "Problem with wireless adapter or access point"Ģ. If I run the Windows Network Diagnostics I get the following message: Basic trouble shooting but no difference. I tried toĬonnect to a friends router but same thing happen, I can find the SSID on my iPhone but my HP.ġ. It could no longer find the SSID of the network but it could still find my iPhone if I created a personal hotspot and it worked fine with Ethernet.
